Goes to pre-order if quantity is changed at final payment page

Does anyone notice that Prestashop Goes to pre-order status if quantity is changed at payment page.

 

1. Purchase Product X quantity 5. In store quantity =5.

2. Reach final payment page to choose payment method.

3. In store quantity changed to 4

4. Payment allowed to go through after choosing payment method.

5. Order goes to pre-order. In store quantity = -1.

 

PS: Allow Pre-order is set to deny.

 

How to make sure Prestashop check through each stage?

 

Does it do a locking mechanism so that the quantity is lock for x amount of time such as cinema online booking before payment is made?

There is no locking in stock management. PrestaShop is not full featured ERP.
