karant
Hi I have been using 1.6.0.9 for some time, I recently moved to a new server. I moved the shop over, everything seemed fine. Until i realised my modules are broken. When I am in the admin panel, I cant install or uninstall modules. When I edit the modules they do not show changes on the front end. I have a big event coming soon, and I am too worried to mess around with the website in case it breaks and isn't available for out event. I am thinking of Installing a new prestashop 1.6.0.14 on a different path, then redirecting the URL to the new path with the new Install. Is there someone who can guide on how I can transfer All products, all images of the products, manufactures, and theme to the new Install? Or if there is an easy solution that I dont know about? Thanks Karan
selectshop.at
You don't need to reinstall. The only thing you should do is to delete all the caches. Delete smarty cache, delete the cache of your browser, delete manually the cache on FTP of Folders: /cache/cachefs - delete all files but not index.php delete smarty cache: go to tab "advanced parameters -> performance -> on top, green bar you will find a button "clear smarty" delete browser cache: F5 key on your keyboard Edited May 25, 2015 by selectshop.at (see edit history)
