penguinyell
Hello prestashop community, I try uploading an image to embed in my CMS "FAQ" page and immediately, a question mark is in its place (even in the back office). Here is a screenshot in the back office. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4JRVh1zhSeATkgzcEtZVkNtRjg/view?usp=sharing The same issue shows in the front office: https://www.penguinyell.com/content/9-faq As you can see, the image is replaced by a question mark. Any thoughts? Thanks guys!

penguinyell
OK. So I noticed this problem started AFTER I changed my shop domain and ssl domain (in the back office, preferences > SEO&URLS) from penguinyell.com to www.penguinyell.com I added the "www." so is this affecting my image directories? What do I need to do to my image directories? By the way, my image in the screenshot from my initial email is showing on my site now... only because I temporarily reverted back to penguinyell.com (without the www.) But I still need a permanent solution. Any thoughts? Thank you prestashop forums!
dnugent
What happens if you do a DNS re-direct - do you loose your images?
penguinyell
Hi! Thanks dnugent! I'll test that out. What I do know is that when I change the SSL domain (under "set shop URL" in the back office) to include the "www." , my entire site begins to misbehave. For example, when I add something to cart, the cart shows as empty. (And of course, I have the image issue I brought up.) When I remove the www. and revert to how I originally had the domain typed out, every thing is fine. But I need the SSL URL to match my SSL certificate (my SSL certificate is for www.penguinyell.com) But when I change it to match my certificate, my site begins to act weird! Is there something special I'm supposed to do to my web site when I modify the SSL URL in the back office? Thank you!
dnugent
Also in the BO you need to enable SSL under preferences Also check back office preferences-->seo & urls-->scroll down and change your 'Shop domain name' to that of you new domain name. You may want to clear your browser cache/cookies as well. Dave
