ehcane
Hello friends. I just faced an issue and i hope you guys can help me to solve it. My homepage template looks like this: http://www.few-bucks.com with the sidebar menu on the left.I like it and i want to keep it like that, but about the the page of each category (for example this :http://www.few-bucks.com/3-women)i want to change a little,i dont want the sidebar menu anymore,i want a filter block instead, where the customer can tick different things and filter the products from the specific category. How can i change the category page template to add a filter block instead? Thanks in advance. Andrei Enache-Prestashop Fat Ninja Edited August 11, 2015 by ehcane (see edit history)
mickeyboy1
Why not disable the categories block in category page And use the layered navigation module for your filter block ???

mickeyboy1
ehcane Goto BO/modules/positions and choose categories block from the dropdown. Scroll down to displayLeftColumn and click Edit. Add category into the exceptions and click save As for the filters, install the blocklayered navigation module(if not already installed) then click configure and you will see all the filters you can use. The more attrbutes you have the more you can filter by Edited May 19, 2015 by mickeyboy1 (see edit history)

mickeyboy1
Have a look in BO/modules/positions and scroll down to displayleftcolumn. If layered navigation module is not listed then you need to transplant it there
