is it possible to add new cart function?

Hi, everyone 

I developed a web application kind of packs with a dynamic products, but I have been stocked on the shopping => how can I add the pack to the cart since the price is dynamic it depend to product the client choose and I want to see in the cart the name of pack and product chosen under it. I think I have to add some functions to the cart controller but I don't have which file   do I have to edit.
