Missing files - Magicquotes

Hi,

I got this info regarding missing files, and the I should fix the error "magicquotes" (http://c2n.me/3hGUT7c)

• .gitignore
• .gitmodules

Can anybody help me with this?

Fix magicquotes ? What do you mean ?

 

magicquotes should be disabled on the server. magicquotes is a very old server module, which should be not activated anymore if php versions 5.4. plus are in use, cause it is not supported anymore (deprecated) by this php versions. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/16098194/why-magic-quotes-has-been-removed-from-php-5-4

 

The missing files are not an error, but an advice that after upgrade of your Prestashop these files are removed. They are not needed by your version in production. git are developer versions and should be not used in production..

Thank you for your prompt answer. I am not familiar with this magicquotes file. I am getting problems to change font-type on CCS, it does not work and it adds \ to the code font-type everytime I run my shop. I was told by the developer of the theme (Alyssum 4.0) that the problem is that I have to fix the "magicquotes" file, as it is indicated in the configuration info...any suggestion? Thank you

Did you changed any types ? Prestashop latest theme versions are using font awsome which are loaded from outside libraries, If you don't know how to change the types, so please ask a developer to make it for you. Simply css does not apply everytime on bootstrap framework. For my customers I through all them the alysum theme. It is a mess. Sorry to say it...

 

If developer is not capable to solve the problems of his theme by himself (unless it is NOT a paid theme), this says all I think....
