minh
- In the mailalerts module I activate the function to allow customers to receive an email when a product is back in stock.- In front office the email form now shows on the product page.- I fill in the form with my own email.- Then I change the stock level of that same product in BO so it is back in stock.- When I save the product I get this error message: mail parameters are corrupted.- The product is saved correctly, but I do not receive any message that the product is back in stock.I did check the forum about this but could only find some related posts which were not yet solved.PS 1.2.
minh
Anyone? What does "mail parameters are corrupted" refer to?

rocky
I've encountered the same problem before too. I think the problem was that an anonymous guest subscribed to receive an alert, but entered an invalid email address. I manually edited the ps_mailalert_customer_oos and removed the invalid email address and the error message disappeared. I then modified the code so that only registered users can receive alerts, which works around the problem.

Hi Rocky, is there any way to allow non registered users to enter their email address to receive alerts too? I've tried a couple of times to add non registered users via the front office but it does not work at all.. The email addresses just won't appear in my ps_mailalert_customer_oos... Hope you'll help. thanks! >.<
