Slow saving/adding new products

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I've problem with my Prestashop: when I'm adding a new, or saving an old product, it takes ages to save. Sometime i get "500 Internal server error". The front page loading time looks OK (but could be better).

I'm using default prestashop theme, just adding a lot of products for a new shop, and it so slow...

Can anyone give a suggestion how to make it faster?

I'm using 1.6.0.14

I'm having the save problem with v1.6.0.9.
We have multishop, but even selecting only one field to change (like the product name) and saving it,it takes forever to complete and sometime it timeout (at 300s).

Is there a way to enable the debug when saving a product to check where is it taking too long?

hi again

after spending a lot of time disabling an enabling Modules, i found out, the Module

XML / SWF Charts v1 - von PrestaShop

was responsible for my very very slow Module page (in BO). it was not enabled, just installed.

Still, it was the reason that the initContent partly went up to 70 seconds loading time!!

after complete uninstallation , the module page is running again very fast.

wtf is this module for?
