shop performance - weak page load time

Hi all,

 

what is your page load time with PS cloud? I am trying cloud these days and I am litle bit aware of performance on cloud.

 

My page load time is more than 4 seconds and I added just 30 products with images.

 

Advanced parameters -> Performance is set up in the fastest possible way. Is there any possibility how to improve page loading time?

 

Because with 4s and more it is useless I think....

Speed and performance depends upon a number of elements (network connection, images on the home page, modules installed, Cloud platform, etc.).  Could you provide more info on your site so we can check out your shop performance ?

Cannot notice any performance problem on your shop. It should be a problem of your internet connection ?

 

Test made: http://www.webpagetest.org/result/150513_3A_DXZ/1/details/ loading time of 2 seconds is good. The only little problem are your pictures (logo and slider). You should compress them before upload. Use riot or another tool for it.

By activating mobile theme you will increase only some points, but Prestashop natively is not really the golden egg in speed/performance (css and js could be optimized). 100 points of 100 you will never achieve with out of the box native software. And this is what is running on Prestashop Cloud.

I think point above 70 will be good for mobile devices, as one can't achieve 100 out of 100

Hi guys,

thank you all for your replies. I still can see page speed tests higher than 4 seconds-, also when checking website, it is quite slow if you click somewhere. There is no problem with internet conection. I even cleared  browser cache, history..etc.

I dont think that these few images can cause it.

Do you have maybe another hint what could be the reason or is it normal with PS cloud? If so, is there posibility to improve performance in the future without redo all?

 

Another question here, how big traffic this PS cloud is able to work with?
