Syns
hello master. Whenever I clearing the cache/smarty cache via back office, the site goes down for several minutes, I've contacted the hosting provider they said that it's down due to heavy sql query procession. I wonder whats wrong with it, I'm using prestashop 1.6.0.14 and I never experience this when I still in 1.5.5. need assistance please. thank you. las3r
What caching method do you use? File System, XCache, Memcached? Are you on a VPS or shared hosting? "heavy SQL" queries is usually a way for hosting providers to tell you that their hosting platform has 1000 customers on 1 system, rather than 100 on 1, meaning you share MySQL with a lot of other people. Simple queries become heavy when there are 1000 websites using the same SQL Instance
