ssbismark Posted February 13, 2010 Share Posted February 13, 2010 hello there,i have this problem for a long time now with my prestashop,i have two homepage displays where ashttp://www.mydomain.com would not point to my edited/configured english home texts,it simply pointsto those latin dummy ps default home texts,but only this url http://www.mydomain.com/pretashop pointsto my home english home texts,which are the ones i want to display on my site,but when people go to my site with my site name http://www.mydomain.com it displays these latin words which are annoying me.i have contacted with my server and they said maybe the solution is to edit my .htaccess file so that my site homepage will be redirected to a subdirectory i.e http://www.mydomain.com/prestashop......i am new withthese things and i don't know how to do this,they gave me an article here how to do this please check ithttp://helpdesk.hostmonster.com/index.php/kb/article/000347now how can i edit that code on the article and after editing it do i have to paste it directly and replace the code in .htacess file with it?your help is very very much appreciated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
