kyrre
HiI found this old tread after a search because I have the same sentence in my shop, and I found it in "Shop translations".I just entered "..." in the form field and saved. Not sure what the Prestashop developers had in mind when the added this. An URL to a disclamer page?Good luck
aliaspt
Trying to edit that part myself. I want to add a link to Privacy Notice. Went to translations and added a href code but it doesn't work on the front end. How do I add a hyperlink through translations?
rocky
You can't. You will need to manually edit identity.tpl in your theme's directory to add a link to the privacy text.
aliaspt
Thank you for response! Do I add a regular html code or it requires some other special script?
rocky
Change lines 110-112 of identity.tpl (in PrestaShop v1.3.2): {l s='[insert customer data privacy clause or law here, if applicable]'} If you are using friendly URLs, you will need to enter the URL like the following: {l s='[insert customer data privacy clause or law here, if applicable]'} and if you aren't using friendly URLs: {l s='[insert customer data privacy clause or law here, if applicable]'} To get it to automatically switch between them is difficult, since it will require you to modify identity.php. aliaspt
It worked! I replaced "Insert customer data privacy clause or law here, if applicable" with another text, and now it looks just like I wanted it to. THANK YOU!!!
jose2250
It worked for me too. Thank you!
Rick4F
Just don't forget to update that every single time you update Prestashop. Should be changeable from the BO without messing with template files.
