Add a filter by start date and end date in layered navigation

Hi,

 

I am making a travel booking portal. I have added start date and end date attributes to products. Now I want to filter using these start date and end date in the layered navigation. Can someone please guide me how this can be achieved.

I have the same problem. I created the date as feature but don't know how i can filter between ranges.

Hope someone can help, i als sell tickets for sports and concerts.
