pietkei
In the SEO module i can see what the product URL looks like: But when i go to that URL i get an 404 page. I have added a sitemap, the sitemap didn't have any errors and was crawled by Google. A while ago i changed some URL's by generating a new URL, it seems that since then none of my products can be found in Google. When i check my site with: "site:slipperwinkel.com" none of my products can be found. There is also an option where i can set my product to a "friendly URL", should i set that option to "YES"?: All help is appreciated! Thanks! NemoPS
Turn that on, then go to preferences-> seo and urls and make sure it's active there as well
pietkei
Thx Nemo1, I followed your advice. When activating friendly urls: preferences>seo and urls i got this error message: The route is not valid Route to modules : Incorrect value When saving it again the error did not show again. But after that i got problems not finding many URL's anymore. Anyway now i switched back to the original settings and it was fine again without friendly urls I'm not sure how to switch the friendly URL's or how to get my products showing in Google. Someone told me to put an empty .htaccess in the root. In which order should i do that? 1. Activate the friendly URLs 2. Place an empty .htaccess Or 1. Place an empty .htaccess 2. Activate friendly URLs I just changed it as mentioned above, (an empty .htaccess) that didn't help. All help is appreciated to get my products in Google, because none of them are showing in Google. Thanks. Pieter Edited May 6, 2015 by pietkei (see edit history)
