add user entered text to each item per order

Hi,

I am new to the forum. Please can you tell me if there is a way to create a text box so that a user can provide some free form text to go along with the selected product. I am printing the user text onto the product selected and they need to be able to enter their text when making each item selection.

I've been looking for a text_area_attribute as well.

There are a number of posts that also want the same thing.

Can a member of the development team assist and tell us if there is one before I submit a "Feature Request"

I am also looking for that feature, one of my products is actually a letter the user creates, I need the customer to be able to enter text as a product

I want too.I need 2 text box for my customers.The customer must enter text before to click on " add in the cart".We are many people who want do that on this forum.
