Omega
Has everything been installed and you get the option of going into the back office or the store front? Have you deleted the install folder and renamed the admin folder? (Just asking, so I know what you have done and possibly not done)Let us know if you have done this. Also what plan are you on with startlogicWhat is your web address that you are tryingto upload to? (again, just to see the error you have)

Omega
This is what I would suggest.1. Make sure you meet the minimum specs for installing Prestashop. On installation, did you get any cross's on the system check? * Linux, Unix, or Windows * Apache Web server * PHP 5.0 or later. (You may have to activate PHP 5 on your hosting service.) * MySQL 4.1.14 or later2. Did you set your file permissions? Alot of people forget to do this. Read the following link to ensure everything is set up as it should.3. If the above solutions do not work, then it is out of my expertise. I would try and install again, but when you use your ftp programme, make sure that all folders have been uploaded. I use filezilla and it says at the bottom files to upload, succesfull files and error files.Let me know how you get on, but im sure it will be the permission settings.Andy
dustybrown
Similar problem! I have installed PrestaShop, made all of the needed changes, checked my PHP, edited it as directed, etc., gone through the wizard and am suppossedly ready to work on my shop...but when I click it... and it "opens" dustybrown.net/prestashop/admin...I get a completely blank page. What am I doing wrong? I reinstalled this a.m. and did all of the changes again...and it still doesn't work. I put my PrestaShop files in my public.html directory. Is that wrong? Omega
Did you set the file permissions? Seems like a permissions problem to me
dustybrown
The write permissions? Yes, I set all of those according to the instructions. If I go to my prestashop, it just says "fatal error" in all caps and if i go to my prestashop/admin, it is just a completely blank white page. My hosting is via StartLogic. If memory serves me right, it has something to do with the MYSQL database. I will have a search to see if I can find which file you need to change. Bors
Same problem as the OP here. Installed 1.3.6 and administration works fine, but the front-end does not show - just a blank page... I've installed previous versions of Prestashop on the same host and never had this issue.Any solutions?Edit: Hmm... re-uploaded the files and now it works... Guess some didn't upload the first time around or something...
