error in adding 3rd step category by csv import

Hello, i am using prestashop cloud 1.6.0.14

I dont understand how to import/add 3rd step category through .csv file, i had used multiple ways to short out my problem, unfortunately i failed. (made csv file category like home,brand,sony or home>brand>sony this think do not work)

please help me

Categories are to be specified using their existing IDs (so you should have imported them first), and separated with a comma (by default).

Already i had done same thing, but it's not working or may be i did any mistake. well i am giving you an example:

i have home categories like

 

50 stylus

3 women

47 headset

15 brand

12 laptops

11 accessories

10 ipods.

 

now i have categories in "BRAND" folder like,

 

28 genetic apparel

25 isoul

27 plantronics

26 jabra

32 apple

29 hnl projection

46 vibe

31 sony

 

Now i have categories in "iSOUL" like:

 

35 sock cover

34 earphone

33 headset.

 

Here i am trying to create categories but i failed to reach here. if i am note down 15,25 in category box on the .csv file, category created on home page with "15,25" name. if i am created category for "iSOUL" like speaker , also i will get result same.

 

so please get me out of this.

For to create categories you don't need to add an ID, only if you already have added them, which is better than import, you can map your products to the categories by ID's

ok. i got it. And now i can see in the screen what i want to fit in display. thank you so much for your coordination.

 

Now i am facing another problem in categories. i have same category "HEADSET" in parent categories "sony", "jabra", "plantronics" etc. so is it possible to create new category he on sony, jabra, plantronics at once by .csv file or can i choose particular category from them? when i tried to create, prestashop randomly create category in any headset category.

Yes, in this case you should use the model csv on the import tool and map by the same way the new category to the first-level category  -

 

Sample:

 

Name new category:

sony1

 

Parent category

sony

 

Root category

0
