agua
Is it possible to set up Prestashop on 2 seperate domains (can be addon, or separate - I'm open to anything) using seperate skins for each domain, but the same product database?

Mattz
You can, but you need to modify some stuff.
Jack
You don't need to change anything. You install separate DBs on different domains, and then drop one of the DB (drop it, not empty it), and import the other DB to the one just drop. Go to the back office, preference, make sure you have the same secure key for the DB, DB name and password. Now you are in business. It is very easy. I use three different domains with one database. agua
So by doing it that way, do you have to re-import the database every time you edit something?
Jack
So by doing it that way, do you have to re-import the database every time you edit something? No. Whatever you upload, update or modify anything in any shop, the same DB will be affected.
muktadir
hi! the solution is easy if both the domain are in the same host. For that all you need to do first install prestashop in a domain. Then just copy the whole thing to another domain. all u need change the 'settings.inc.php' file in config folder. for different host, one of database server must have a remote address. And the process should be the same. Inform me if doesn't work.See ya
nrgytrading
Hi :-) Does this work when friendly url is activated? Tried, but all links sends me back to the original shop.. I use PrestaShop™ 1.4.4.
