sting5
HI everyone, Version 1.0.6.14 here. Looked for hours and hours for the answer but to no avail. I'm willing to make post code in the authentication visible and working, BUT NOT required field. Turning post code for country in BO removes the field, which is not what I need to happen. Just editing the authentication.tpl file does not help in any way. Any help appreciated really.
jgamio
Try these look for the correct tpl search <div class="required postcode form-group"> just delete required <div class="postcode form-group"> you need to test it because these is a validation just in front I dont know if these is validate on other place
sting5
Chenges in .tpl file only affects looks but doesn't affect the requirement criteria.I've "walked around this" by simply commenting out the function checking post code validity in Controllers/frontend/authcontroller.php and now it works for me. Thanks for suggestion anyways! Edited May 10, 2015 by sting5 (see edit history)
RobbieBlokeToys
Any chance of more information on how to achieve this? For example, what part exactly do we comment out? I have played around with this desperately trying to get rid of the error in post code and nothing is working. Thanks
