In stock label not showing on product page

As in the title I have the number of products but the "In Stock" label is gone. Strange thing is that the label basically works but there is no availability value if you look with dev tools.

 

It's a theme based on the default bootstrap.

PS version 1.6.14

 

any ideas?

 

Ok, so as it turns out it's not showing because I need to set manually Displayed text when in-stock on product page?
Is there a way to automatically set that field for all products?

I found a solution by Pascal but is there a more "natural way"?
