How do you enable SEO friendly URLs?

Hi. I'm using prestashop 1.2.5

I can see that generating the .HTACCESS is found in TOOLS - GENERATORS.

Its says:

If you do not have the "Friendly URL" enabled when generating the ".htaccess" file, such feature won't be available.

But where do I enable SEO Friendly URL?

In your back office (admin) - preferences tab - choose Friendly URL option

For the others:

You have to create a blank .htaccess and upload it to where prestahshop and enable permissions to write on it (CHMOD 777). Enable the Friendly URL then hit Save, go to tools - generators and then hit the htaccess generator.
