Products by same manufacturer on product page?

Hi All,

 

I would like to have products by the same manufacturer on the product page.

It should be like the product-category module that shows products from the same category, but then by manufacturer.

 

There are topics, but not for the version 1.6.0.11

Also I can't find a module for this version.

 

Does anyone knows how to change the product-category module to get the manufacturer?

If someone has this for my version, can you share the files?

I'm not a developer, but can do the change if you can explain in detail ;-))

At first, Need to create module for same. Then implement hook feature and display data on front end.

Thanks, but I'm not looking to create a module from scratch.

 

I've seen a topic where someone changes the category-product module to select products from the same manufacturer instead of the same category, but it was for an old version and it doesn't show the final source.

 

So if anyone can tell me what to change in that module, this would be great!!

If you have knowledge of php then you can get the info about the products belongs to manufacturers.

Please archSandy I'm not looking to create a module from scratch. There is the module productscategory that shows the products from the same category on the page. I have seen postings about making a copy of this module and make some changes so that is shows products of the same manufacturer.

 

So I am asking if someone can help me by telling me how to change those sources for version 1.6.0.11
