Order status not updating when payment made outside the shop

Hi I am using

 

Presta shop 1.6.0.9  

 

with paypal integrated.

 

It seems that when customer did not go through the payment first time and resubmit the payment later, it does not update order status.

 

I am not quite sure exact workflow but this is happening only when  customer does not pay in the first place.

 

 

For example ) when the payment goes to 'Pending Payment Confirmation' in Paypal, and later it gets approved.  it does not seem to update the status

 

is anyone experiencing the same issue?

Yes - though it happens on every order - payment goes to Paypal, goes through, everything is good... and then returns to Prestashop and it still has the order in the cart like you've never sold anything. Order history shows nothing either... but payment goes through paypal fine as I mentioned.
