Prestashop help for setting a full width for homepage

Hello,

 

I have tried to set my homepage to full width(without the grey background as you can see in the attached screenshot)

I have changed some of the .css files but without any success.

My theme is custom and prestashop version is 1.5.6.0.

Please advice or tell me what additional info you may need further.

Without see your shop in live will be difficult (or impossible) for anyone here. Anyway this is not an easy change, and if your theme is not responsive is more difficult yet.

Edit the file: elsol-solarshop.com/sub/themes/new_theme/css/bootstrap-responsive.css

Change the width to: 100%

 

Now you have your site in fullwidth, but now the problem is that you will need to change the styles of many blocks, and it is a hard work.
