Friendly URLs Error

How can i fix these 2 errors for turning on friendly url

2 errors 

1. The route is not valid
2. Route to modules : Incorrect value

Need to confirm that your website hosting has mod_rewrite option true or not ?

I think its on.

i checked and it is listed at the loaded modules in php info.

which version u r using?

Clear your cache folder and then work on the friendly url button.

I'm using 

PHP Version 5.5.9-1ubuntu4.6

PrestaShop version 1.6.0.14

 

do u mean that i should erase the cache->smarty->compile folder?

Clear following two directory content.

\cache\smarty\

\themes\your_current_theme\cache\

I tried cleaning it many times already

everything works fine with the error.

if i turn on and off, the error seems to go away. is it ok?

but if i generate another robot.txt file then the error appears again.

 

the problem i face is with the login and logout so i think the controller doesnt get called properly

 

After i turned on my friendly Urls, i tried to login and it was okay. But when i try to logout, the user name still there at the home page, so i clicked the username, it goes to sign in and when i click the shop logo again, the user seems to be logged in.

not sure if its the route problem.

Its seems to be okay with the url error message.
