n_s_simpson
Hi Everyone I'm using PS 1.6.0.14. I have a few hidden product pages that I only want registered users to have access to. I can't find a way of only letting products appear in the search result for only registered users so I've told them not to come up at all. Instead I've created a category that everyone can view: https://devilprinters.co.uk/2742-closed-products The hidden product pages are in hidden sub-categories of this main category so only registered users can see them. What I need is for certain search words of my choosing to direct users to the "Closed Products" category page. Is this possible preferably without having to buy a module? Thanks Nick
NemoPS
As far as I know, it's not possible, you might even need a totally custom solution. That said, I think you took the right path, if you don't want to create private whole categories.
n_s_simpson
Hi, I'm still looking for a solution. I now have a custom CMS page, which I'd like to redirect users to if they search for specific words. Is that possible?
NemoPS
It is. Edit the searchcontroller.php file.Look for $query = whatever...It's at the very beginning of initCOntent.use a conditional there, so if it matches your word/s, redirect to the custom page
