I urgently need to change acess info to admin sida

Recommended Posts

Hello
I have a presta web boutique however two others have access to my admin site and I have no idea how
to change it so I will just have access to my own admin pannel, I need info on how I can create new access
and passwords etc, I do not have these other two information or their passwords etc.
Hope someone will be kind enough to share little info about how to do this.
Kind Regards

Lancelot

Do you mean you want to restrict which tabs the other two users can access in the Back Office? You can do this by going to Employees > Profiles and creating a new profile called "User", then go to Employees > Permissions, select "User" in the dropdown, then untick which tabs you don't want the user to have view, read, write or delete access to. You can then go to the Employees tab and then click the Edit button in the Actions column, then change their profile from "Administrator" to "User".

Hi
Thankyou kindly for your reply
Because I am not a computer whizz I took in help from two others to help with alterations etc
Now the site is complete, however both have had access to admin pannel to web boutique and they have probable
used there own password etc to gain access to my admin pannel and back office because this I have seen under visits
recently which means one or both are still accessing this admin panel, so I would like to cancel out all access to admin panel
and just create a new pass etc for myself.
Hope you can help me with this
Regards

Lancelot

In that case, you can just go to the Employee tab and click the X next to the other two accounts, so that only your account remains. To change your cPanel password, you'll need to log in to cPanel and then choose the "Change password" option in the Quick Start section (assuming you're using cPanel X like I am).
