PascalVG
Hi Piske, - Do you have an URL to your site, so we can have a look? - What sub version of 1.6.XX do you use? - Custom theme, or default one? - Can you show a screenshot of a product where you defined the weight is 15 kg (or any other weight)? (Please add the product name of it too) pascal.

PascalVG
I Checked the site. - I see that the sample product has a weight of 9.8 kg. - I see after adding 1 product to the cart and checkout the shipping costs = 10.80 - Looking at your table of post #1: 9.8 kg -> between 5 and 10 kg -> 10 CHF shipping costs. You selected 8% tax on shipping -> 10*1.08 = 10.80 CHF. It seems to work fine... Can you clear your browser, and clear your cookies? Then try again... pascal
gshds
Hi, I have a similar problem. I would like to offer the shipping cost for some of my articles. I tested two solutions with the 1.6.0.9 version of Presta: 1- Delivery -> Preference and I selected "Shipping offered from" 49000 kg If my client purchases an item that weighs 50000kg, they should be free of charge and the filter does not work. 2. Delivery -> Transport, I then created a carrier with the following criteria: see photo attached It does not work either. If my customer buys one article it works correctly, but if he puts a second item in the cart, they will disable all carriers. This is perhaps a BUG ? Someone can help me? Thank you in advance
PascalVG
gshds, Please re-attach the image. Didn't go through... About no 2. Please make sure you have the option: "Apply the cost of the highest configured range" selected So, to make it work, make a carrier: - NO free shipping (switch to NO). Free shipping is weight dependent, so choose NO here) - Billing according to total weight - range step 1: 0 - 49000 kg : XX.XX Euro (or whatever currency you use) - range step 2: 49000 - 10000000kg : 0.00 Euro But please show me your image. pascal

gshds
Hello Pascal, I have tested your suggestion, but does not work. See the attached printscreen. Regards, G.
PascalVG
Gshds, Try to follow these steps: - Shipping -> Carrier - Press 'New Carrier' button top right - On first page, add name of Carrier and average shipping duration, (speed grade is not that important, add 1 or 5 or so) - Press the Next button at the bottom right - On 2nd Page, Choose: - Billing according to WEIGHT - Out of range behavior : Apply the cost of highest range. - Choose the zones you want to send to with this carrier - Then, as the first range, add: - 0.00000 to 49000 - add a price in the field(s) next to each selected zone. This is the price they have to pay if the weight is between 0 and 49000kg Then click on the button all the way down, " Add new Range" - as second range, add: - 49000 (auto filled in) to 10000000 - add as price to pay 0.00, so all orders with total weight between 49000 and 10000000 will be free - Press Next button The 3rd page is not so interesting. - Only if the carrier have limitations on size of weight what they expect, the fill in any number here - Press Next Step 4 is a summary. Check if that's indeed what you want. - Press Finish Now, make a product of say 24000 kg as a test See if 1 product gives 15 Euro shipping (or, the amount you gave it) See if 2 products gives 15 Euro shipping See if 3 products give free shipping This really should do it. If you cannot make it work, I might try to set it up for you. If you want that, create a temporary employee (Administration->Employee) and give it administration rights. Then PM (Private Message. DON'T add this info here!) me the: 1) login name (suggested name: passiebeer@hotmail.com) 2) the password you gave it (password up to you) 3) the URL to your back office where you login Hope this does the trick, pascal. gshds
Hello Pascal, Thank you again for your help. I tried without the first range that you suggested. I can not use the range 0 to 49000 with a fixed price because in our case the shipping price are different. I tried with only the second range. It does not work. Could you send me your personal e-mail adresse ? Regards, G
PascalVG
Hi G, no, you cannot only do the 2nd range, should be a full range, starting from 0. Can you describe exactly what you want to achieve, including all steps before the 49000 = free step? Like 0-100 = 20$ 100-1000 = 30$ etc.? Or if it doesn't work like this, let me know in detail how it does work, maybe we can figure out some solution. My Pers. Email: passiebeer@hotmail.com pascal. PascalVG
Steve, can you post some screens of all your carrier steps you created? And do you have a sample product that has some weight attached (how much?) pascal.
gshds
Hello Pascal, I have investigated and I found some incoerence that I changed. First action : - Shipping -> Carrier, I have several carrier, into one of them, several range are set with different weight and the last colum was specified free of charge for 49000 to 50000 that I have removed. This last, probably interfer with the free shipping carrier that I have previously created. At same time I solved also the problem of numbers of items into the basket who does not working correctly (2 items = 98000). Second action : - Catalog-> Products -> delivery, I have removed all "selected carrier" the carrier selection will be automatic. In my case was forced. Finally it wok perfecly, I hope this info can help some one. Best regards
