max30
Hello, I have products with reference codes that include a dash (for example, t-1) and these products are excluded from search results. Is there a way to treat the dash as a character so that the products turn up in the searches. The minimum word length is set to 2 in the backoffice. Prestashop 1.6.0.9 Thanks
NNGNews
UP ! I have the same problem (I think all of us have it) I know "-" (and some others) are strange charachters but maybe we need only a small tip to avoid this problem Thank you _____________________________ http://www.kissene.com/en/
Guest
I have this issue too, I'm trying to get to the bottom of this but no luck so far so if anyone knows how to solve. I have oil products with stuff like 5W-30 ; 15W-40 etc in it so I need the dashes to work. cheers
Guest
So I've noticed that these settings seem to work (see image). When I disable instant search dashes are not included in some search results for example "5W-30" where "15W-30" does work. Min word length to 2 might not be needed, this setting is still a mystery to me as changing it doesn't change anything to the end results in my tests. So yeah ... fun with Prestashop.
