Engine44
I am a new website designer. I am looking for an all-in-one CMS I can use for my clients. Perhaps it doesn't exist. I know that Prestashop is primarily an ecommerce solution. Lets say my client is an art gallery. Perhaps only one page of the site leads to a store. Can I use Prestashop to create the non-store pages (e.g. gallery, events, news, history, etc.)? Can you suggest any Prestashop websites that are not primarily stores? Thanks. selectshop.at
Which argues do you have against the use of WordPress ? WP has the best SEO ever and all the modules you need for free. Prestashop is not a CMS.
Engine44
I need Prestashop for its payment features. It would be nice to have one CMS that does everything.
Guest
Set up the main site as a wordpress site (very easy to manage) Create prestashop on a subdomain (e.g. shop.mainsite.com) On the wordpress menu add a link to "Store" that points to the subdomain
Engine44
Thank you, I suspected I was going to have to do something like that. Since I don't care for WordPress, I'll hunt for another CMS.
