[BackOffice] Top menu, no dropdown menu after update to 1.6.0.14

In the backoffice i prefer the top menu, with the very nice dropdown submenus.

 

Unfortunally after updating to 1.6.0.14 my top menu lost it's dropdown ability, making it impossible

to access the submenus.

 

Any idea how and why the top menu would stop showing the dropdown ?  

 

maybe an idea on how to debug ? 

 

 

#dev mode is enable, and there is no errors..

Hi

I am, another user with a similar case and by same cause, after update PS 1.6.0.14 and my top menu is broke, if you analize with firebug you can see that it lose links with some files .css.


This issue has repeat on several updates with various web, fortunately the option that provides "Update 1-clik" for undo the update and get it back it works surprusingly well.


I follow this thread by waiting that generous mind get us out of this hole

Sorry my issue is in the front-office.

even if the cause is the same, update to PS1.6.0.14

Well,,  1.6.0.14  yes..  side menu is fine..  but ugly as hell

 

top menu, still tunchated into 3 dots at the end ..    

 

 

Whats even more strange it's normal "while loading" the page, but it seems the last thing

that happens, is moving the entire menu to the right  

 

 

Screen size does not matter, tryed extending the browser across 3 montors same problem.

i saw some thread for similar problems with older versions involving .htaccess files. 

 

Any ideas? Please help...

Just had the same problem updating to 1.6.1,

 

in modules -> top menu -> use the drop down button -> reset

 

How long it took me to find this ? 3 hours (plus one hour writing "PHP", "JAVASCRIPT" and "CSS" with my own blood)
