Sub Category thumbnail and Image

HI Guys, 

 

When editing a sub category you can add an image. Now the image will show as a thumbnail one I click on the parent category. It also shows as an image along the top block of the sub category page itself. 

 

The question is I want the image to show  as a thumbnail on the parent category page ONLY. Please help.

I'm gonna follow this topic because I have the same issue. I thought that by adding a thumbnail picture and removing the category picutre, it will work. Instead, I have the "no image" text displayed.
