Cart Rules - How can a customer use their voucher more than once in one transaction?

Recommended Posts

Hi there!

My question is regarding cart rules. I am currently using Prestashop 1.5.5.0

I would like to offer customers $30 off a particular product. So if they buy one, its $30 off. If they buy 2 its $60 off. If they buy 3 its $90 off, etc. I have set up a coupon code for this.

I have set it up but its only taking $30 off once regardless of how many they purchase in one transaction. Does anyone know how I can change this so the above happens?

Thanks so much.

Instead of cart rules use (Price rules > catalog price rules) and for the product(s) to be discounted apply relevant reductions starting from relevant quantities.

If you want to restrict the reduction to particular user(s), create a group for which the catalog price rule applies and add user(s) to that group.

Hi Phrasespot

Thanks so much. When I drop down price rules I only have cart rules or marketing as an option.

Maybe my version of Prestashop doesn`t have this facility. I`m using 1.5.5.0.

I phoned Prestashop and they told me I`d need to purchase a module.

I thought it would be a simple feature in cart rules, but it seems not.

Thank you for your help.

PS menu can be ordered/stacked in different configurations. Check that menu item has not been moved elsewhere.

Maybe my web developers blocked it?

Maybe, tough I cannot think of a reason to do so. Try calling its URL directly. Login to back office. Go to, say, Cart Rules tab, then replace the relevant part of the URL (the name of the controller) in the address bar:

https://yourshop/youradmin/?controller=AdminCartRules&token=123abc...

https://yourshop/youradmin/?controller=AdminSpecificPriceRule&token=123abc...

One of two things may happen.

1- If you get the error "Controller not found' contact your developer and query.

2- If it is there you will get a warning "Invalid security token" (due to token mismatch). Ignore it and click on  "I understand the risks and I really want to display this page", The tab should display (with the correct token). Note the menu item highlighted. This is where that tab is placed. You can move it around using (Administration > Menus). Or just bookmark it.
