Discount Setup Question

How can I make it $5 off for each $50 spent on my product? This discount needs to work for only one group of customers. 

 

I have Prestashop 1.4.7

In Versions PS 1.5 and up you can do this with cart rules. In PS 1.4 you'll need to use a Voucher.

 

Go to Back Office  > Payment > Vouchers

 

Create your "New" voucher, apply it to the group you want. Then select "Display the voucher in the cart".

 

That will automatically apply the discount in the cart to your group.
