stoo_s
I'm trying to add our twitter feed and a text block to the same line as the facebook like block on the homepage. Initially I tried adding this to the Custom CMS block but soon realised that you can't use HTML code in this block. I then downloaded the free twitter widget but this displayed it underneath the Custom CMS block. I then stumbled upon this post (https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/331732-add-google-to-custom-information-block/) and tried my luck with HTMLbox. It worked initially but then just started to display the code on our homepage. I tried again and again, even reinstalling the module, but the same thing kept occuring. I then tried downloading Contentbox and i'm getting the same issue, the code is displaying on the homepage, no content. The website is http://www.thelearningemporium.co.uk/shop/ To summarise: 1. Does anyone have an idea about how to achieve facebook like box / twitter feed block / text items block on the homepage. There's a good example of it here (http://tiendapulgarcito.com/) created by another prestashop user but I have no idea how it was achieved. 2. Why are HTMLbox and Contentbox displaying code instead of content on my homepage? Thanks in advance, Stuart
PascalVG
Hi Stuart, Not sure if you do it, but you have to paste the (html) code in the source dialog box, otherwise it sees it as plain text instead of code: My 2 cents, pascal
stoo_s
Sheesh, I need to get more sleep! Cheers Pascal. I was editing the css files and everything else you could think of... could swear I had added it to the source dialog box. Well, it's sorted now, so thanks again!
