kona333
I have an issue where the taxes don't show up for my country until you refresh the page once. It must be saving a cookie of your location so when you refresh it knows to add taxes for that country. From there on out all prices will be correct for that user, but that's a pretty major bug, it makes prestashop pretty much unusable for geolocations if the price is always wrong when you first visit the site. What happens when you want to link to a specific category or product from Facebook, and all users that go to it will see the minus tax (incorrect) price at first until they refresh? And what about users that don't allow saving of cookies? All prices are wrong. Is there a way to force Prestashop to load the correct tax the first time the website is loaded, not on refreshing it? Or is there a way to force the shop to default to a certain country, thereby ALWAYS show that countries tax rate unless the user is from a different country? That seems to be how other ecommerce systems work (ie bigcommerce). I've already got all products prices > tax rules set to the 15% tax rate, and I've got Localization > Default country set to the correct country (with the 15%). kona333
bump. I assume this is an issue affecting all versions of Prestashop. I can't be the only person that has a country tax set up. I assume others would have bought this up but not many would ever have tested after deleting cookies so didn't recognise the issue. I did get a quote to fix it from someone, but it was a bit pricey.
