FredActin
Hi there, I have recently upgraded a shop from Prestashop 1.4.x to Prestashop 1.6.0.9 I've sorted out most glitches excepting one that only happens intermittently so it's really to to recreate the problem and fix it. I'm hoping some of you would have ideas to find out more about it. Here is what happens: - Customers place orders on the website without problem - On the back-end under "Orders > Orders" I click on an order to get the details - On the "Shipping" section sometimes the details are blank, sometimes they are fine. See screenshots: Blank: http://www.webpagescreenshot.info/img/5511553b21dc50-85873315 Fine: http://www.webpagescreenshot.info/img/5511551598bdd9-99089672 I can't find a pattern, for instance I tried to see if the payment option chosen had an impact but it hasn't, nothing special about the product chosen the address of the customers or their status (new / existing). I also tried to delete the shipping methods and re-create new ones with the same details (I thought it could be a simple bug after the upgrade). Now I'm stuck - I need this information because the shop offers express delivery so we need to make sure the right information is passed on! If anyone has an idea, any help would be much appreciated. tuk66
It looks like the carrier is not linked to the order. See id_order field in ps_orders table.
FredActin
Hi tuk66, Thanks for the reply, Indeed something is not being passed on properly, please see this screenshot - sometimes the carrier is fine (ID 72) sometimes it just shows ID 0? http://www.webpagescreenshot.info/img/55115bd771f2f8-55754945 Let me know what you think. Edit: Express delivery is being recorded, see ID 56:http://www.webpagescreenshot.info/img/55115cd396bba4-17704668 Edited March 24, 2015 by FredActin (see edit history)

FredActin
Maybe someone may have an idea about how I could go about tracking what's happening to try and find the cause?
