thezey
Hello, I currently offer Free Shipping on all items over $99. I also have discounted items. Right now, customers get both Discounted products and free shipping. However, I'd like to have a rule that says even over $99, no free shipping on discounted items. How can I configure my Prestashop 1.5.4 so that it doesn't add free shipping on discounted items? Thank you
NemoPS
You could put those discounted items in a specific category that you exclude from the offer, but it might be long. THe other only alternative I can think about it modifying classes/CartRule.phpModifying the checkValidity method, using $this->context->cart->getProduct(), then run through them and see if they have a discounted price. If so, return false (or an error) so that the rule is not added
thezey
Thank you, Nemo. Is your other alternative hard to put into effect? To be honest, I have no idea how to do it and where do begin. I can't believe this process hasn't been made easy. A lot of commerce websites apply that rule.
NemoPS
Unfortunately, it's not easy at all. It is hard, indeed, you need to be very php savvy to do it
