Hi, I am new and not even sure this is the right forum to post in but I need a little help.


I would like to know how I can customize the front page? Is this done through admin or manual.

I would like to remove the currency icon and edit the language among other things.

I would like to remove the tag box too.

Appreciate your help.

Basically most of the custom edits can be manually done but it is not necessary.

You can do this via the administrator are easily + using the WYSIWYG page edit tool there. To do so login to the admin area than go to Modules and find Home text editor. If it is not install it - Install it. Then click configure. A new page will be loaded where you will be able to edit the home page for your PrestaShop.

Currencies can be changed via Payment -> Currencies. If you want to simply change what is written on the page follow the instructions above. If you want to change text for products you should do so via the Catalog tab in the admin area.

As for the tag box - just uninstall it via modules -> Tags block.
