1.0 Final Tax Problem

Im trying to set up a tax for NY state only. but there is some problems. I have attached a image which to me it dosent make any sense. I actualy have a couple of problems starting with:

1. The shipping price is included WITHOUT selecting a shipping option.

2. State Tax is not included (EVEN after u login and use the NY address) which i only need it to be taxable for the state of NY.

and

3. The cart dosent display any sort of info except what u see there. no total no tax no shipping amount nothing.

I have set the state tax properly following the wiki directions, which they worked on the previous RC5 version.

I've had this same problem, I ONLY need to charge tax for CA residents and I have that set in the Back Office, but it still isn't showing up or charging even when you're logged in with a CA listed account. Please fix?!
