Top menu doesn't show sub-categories on all links

Recommended Posts

Hello.

I'm setting up a prestashop at http://prof-pet.dk, which is currently offline (Because the shop is not finished yet). But I run into a little problem, with the top menu.

I've added some categories to the top menu. Sub-categories are shown at top level (Home), and also for one of the child categories. But the second child category, which is identically, doesn't show up, although it has 3 categories with products in it (As well as the other, which is showing).

Hovering over the top level category, shows both child categories with sub categories, in it and none of them is disabled. I've tried to delete the child category (which is not working) and re-enter the details, added the child categories once more. But same problem exists! It's set up identically as the other child category, which is working.

It isn't a CSS problem as i'm using the default tempalte, and the HTML are not even there for the second sub-category isn't there at all. Also changing the order of the menu doesn't do anything either for the problem.

I'm using prestashop 1.6.0.13 with the default theme (default-bootstrap)

Hovering over home show all the categories and sub categories :

Hovering over a child category show the sub-categories:

So not a single answer in 10 days :(
I really thought this was the right place to go with the question.

Is it the lack of information in my question or is there no one who has a clue about this problem?

Reinstalling prestashop files and template files, didn't work.
Remaking the categories didn't work.

This is just a friendly bump on the post. I'm not mad or anything.

hello

ok here is how I solved the same problem:

go to the top menu module

there you have to select the category you have created on the left and add it to the right menu

this way you will see it on the top menu bar

I hope it can help (I got crazy to find a solution)
