SOLVED add quantity information in home tab (based on default-bootstrap)

I would like to display the amount of a product (i.e. each/per person) after the price in my home featured tab.

 

I managed to get this working with if statements in the general product-list and the product pages. But I can't find a way to check the category id from the home featured block.

 

In other words: how do I call the category id for an if statement on the homepage?

 

Any suggestions?

Solved using the {debug} tag I managed to find the right variable ($product.id_category_default).
