New field on Order Detail page

Hi all...

 

I need a field where we can add notes for the individual orders. The field should be a field where text can be added and deleted when we need to. Regardsless of order-state. We've tried to use the "message" function - but its just not flexible enough and adds new messages everytime.

 

I've created the field in the database - and added the field code so it's showing in the order-detail page now (Plukhotel note ad seen in the image). No problem.

 

But... HOW do i create a button ("Tilføj note" in the image) that will update the contents of that field? Again - this has to be possible regardless of the order state. Button created - it´s the "post" function i'm missing.

 

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi,

 

I'd like to have something similar. A note related to the order. Not the note to Customer which is on the Order detail - it shows the same note on all orders of the same customer.

 

I'd like to have different notes on orders of the same customer. I suppose I need a new column "order_note" in the DB (probably in the PS_ORDERS table) and to show this text field in the ORDER DETAIL page in the Admin.

 

How to do that on 1.6.0.9 ?? It is very useful. I hope it will soon become a standard function ...
