im using prestashop 1.5.6.1 and there has been recent issues when receiving payment i get:

 

error: Paypal Issue Please try to contact the merchant: <b>PayPal response:</b> -> 

 

Paypal Version : 3.6.4

you need to upgrade the module or patch it.  you might try reading the sticky topics in this forum.

I have the same issue with the latest version of Paypal v3.8.2

 

How can I patch it?

Nevermind, I made the mistake entering the real API codes in combination with test environment (sandbox). For Sandbox mode you need sandbox API codes.
