New error using Themeconfigurator module

Hello

I am trying to change some html we have in the Hook Top section of our Theme Confiurator module.  I am getting the following error

 

[PrestaShop] Fatal error in module themeconfigurator:
Call to undefined method Tools::purifyHTML()

 

Removed offending line from the code and now the error does not show but nothing gets saved.  So I replaced the offending code and the error returns.

 

I assume it might be looking htmlpurifier or some such other system.  This error probably occurred after an update or something. 

 

Anyone who can help me here.   We need to fix the code because my designers entered image links with http instead of https and we are getting some ssl errors on page loads.
