[Module] Products to display randomly in Homepage Tabs module

I'm using a module called HomepageTabs for my website. It only allows me to set how many products I want to display, and it only display the oldest 12 products (if I set 12).

 

I would really like to have it show the products randomly instead of always showing the same 12 products. If it could just randomly pick and display 12 products from all my other products, that would be great.

I've contacted the module's author and got reply from them.
