Adding a custom input box for an attribute to an item?

Hi,

not sure if this is the right forum section, but please move this post if it's not.

 

I would like to add an attribute input box.

So I have a product (kitchen drawers) which will have a min.height, max.height, min.depth, max.depth, and people should be able to enter the value they want as long as it is between the min and max.

How can we add an input box for them to enter the value, but also to limit the input between min, max values and integers only.

I know how to do this in javascript forms etc, but how can we apply it to prestashop?

So there is no tutorial anywhere to add a custom field to a product? Something like the current text fields, as long as we can customize their size, type (integers only) etc.

How can we do that?
