Shaun
[sOLVED] Okay, not sure what I did to change this and only just noticed it now. Previously my shop description was showing up in a google search. Now, it looks like the shop index info is coming up in a search. The only thing that I can think of that might have affected this (and just guessing...) was installing jcarousel (thanks Rocky) and removing Home Text Editor module from Homepage Content module position. The Home Text Editor contained the shop description text, but I'm not sure if google reads this description from here? Confused :-(

tomerg3
Google has their own way of deciding what to put there, I suspect it has something to do with the missing tags and the text that was there before.

Shaun
Hey Guys,I totally forgot that I had this issue solved, thanks to Rocky. You have to navigate to the Back Office --> Preferences --> Meta-Tags.There you can compile the text in your pages. I changed my "index.php" data to reflect want i wanted to show in google searches, and it worked for me the next time google crawled my site. Hope this helps :-)
Karens
Aha, it's changed there already, how does crawling work, because i update and submit site maps regulary, maybe i should somehow suggest to re-crawl my web? How you did that?
Shaun
Karens - I'm still learning the SEO stuff so I don't know too much yet, but I believe Google has robots (bots) that crawl the internet all the time and updates any changes. I don't know how often this happens, for me it took a few days for my changes to be reflected.I suggest you check out Google's Webmaster Tools page with lots of links to useful tools to help you learn how to increase your ranking etc.
