Vostillix
Hello guys OVH is currently working on PHP updates and some old version will soon be obsolete and no longer supported. A client's shop is running under Prestashop 1.4.7 and PHP 5.2. I have to update it PHP version, at least to 5.4. So I got few questions before processing. - Is PS 1.4.7 compatible with PHP 5.4 or 5.5 (or even 5.6, but I read that many problems occurs with that version) ? - Is there specific things to do on PS configuration after updating PHP ? - Is there known issues with that kind of update ? For as long as it's not absolutely necessary, I can't update Prestashop to a newer version for the moment. Thank you for that !
fred-vinapresta
Hi, you can go with php 5.5. I don't know about php 5.6, btw you will be able to update later when you will update your prestashop version. If you find problems with modules like search bar, reset it Edited March 10, 2015 by fred-vinapresta (see edit history)

Vostillix
Here I'm back. The update is supposed to be done (I'm not sure of the time OVH need to consider modifications), without major influence on the website. As you mentionned, I currently have a problem with the search bar, wich does not work at all (whatever you type, no result is found). I tried to reset it, reinstall it, rebuild the index or disable ajax, it does not solve the problem. Any idea ?
