Products: How to cancel" new, used, refurbished" and banner "promo"

I use a 1.6 (1.6.0.9. exactly) – Concerning the products, I would like to cancel on the products:

* First to desactivate the informations : new, used, refurbished ?
 

* And secondly: when you activate the discount, How can I take off the banner “Promotion” on the photos of the product ?

You can hide them via CSS or delete at all in the template file. With the template way, you have to make sure to delete all occurrencies of them, since are more than once. If you're not comfortable with none of these, paste here a link to your site and I can point you in the right direction.
